Paul Sciarra
Paul grew up watching his father build houses and commercial properties. Starting at the age of 10, he spent his summers and school vacations as an apprentice to the tradesmen on his father’s team. Through this experience, he learned the telltale signs of both high quality and poor construction helping him to quickly evaluate the overall quality and condition of a house or building.
After spending time as a home energy auditor, the property manager of a 45-building renovation in Hartford (now Clemens Place), and starting the sales and management offices for the Towers at Park Place, Paul teamed up with his father to manage commercial and residential buildings throughout the Greater Hartford area. Together they bought, managed and sold over 300,000 square feet with 150+ tenants.
Becoming a residential and commercial real estate agent was the natural progression of his career. Paul knows houses and can easily spot a diamond-in-the-rough as well as warn against a dazzling looking moneypit. He has an extensive network of contractors and handymen to call on in a pinch to evaluate and/or repair issues before a house goes on the market or after a buyer moves in. He is well connected in this business and is deeply respected by clients and agents alike.
Paul has been deeply involved in the community, serving as the President of West Hartford Girls Travel Soccer for 21 years, and the President of West Hartford Youth Basketball for 3 years. He grew up in West Hartford and resides there with his wife of 38 years. They have 3 children and 6 grandchildren. Paul is a graduate of Hall High School in West Hartford and Bentley College.
