Suffield is a small agricultural community located on the Connecticut River and Massachusetts border in north-central Hartford County.

Residents take pride in preserving their distinctive New England village, which features an exquisite green and Main Street sprinkled with 18th and 19th century homes. New homes are emerging in outlying areas of town and around existing historic architecture. Captivating Suffield Village is quintessential early America with charming examples of colonial and Victorian architecture, tree-lined streets and small, attractive shops.

Residents have made a considerable investment in their public school facilities, which include two elementary schools, a middle school and high school. The Parks and Recreation Department offers recreational, educational, athletic and social programs to residents of all ages.

Interstate 91 provides easy access to urban areas like Hartford and Springfield, and a 15-minute travel to Bradley International Airport.
