Settled in 1633, Windsor is Connecticut's oldest town.

As an agricultural community, a thriving tobacco industry contributed greatly to the development and prosperity of this historic New England community.

Windsor's Northwest Park is a 473-acre, multi-recreational facility featuring an interpretive nature center, 12 miles of trails, an operational maple sugar house, the Luddy-Taylor Connecticut Valley Tobacco Museum and more. The town also offers Tradition Golf Club.

For those who like to canoe and kayak on the Farmington River, Strawberry Hills park is a popular destination in the summer. With seven exits in Windsor, Interstate 91, provides easy access to and from the city making it convenient for residents to commute to nearby business centers like Hartford.
