Simsbury is one of Connecticut's oldest towns and has been growing tremendously for decades.

The town is filled with historic restorations, stately traditional homes, graceful contemporaries and condominium communities. Wide meadows with meandering streams, mountain vistas, woodlands and tree-lined neighborhoods provide for enjoyable living.

The town maintains 1,600 acres of parks and open land. Simsbury Farms Recreational Complex is the focal point with 235 gorgeous acres including an 18-hole golf course, covered outdoor skating rink, outdoor pool, lighted tennis courts, paddle tennis courts and a fitness trail.

The Farmington River offers kayaking and canoeing. The International Skating Center of Connecticut provides training for national and international Olympic champions.
